The will likely be spoilers, but should I talk about something super new I'll warn ya. But consider this a pre-emptive warning! You're WARNED!

oooOOOOooooo

Pixelogic has a big, chunky interview with some of the art team behind Dragon Age II and if you care about that sort of thing, it's a rather interesting peek at not only what goes into the art of video games, but also the changes made between Origins and DA2. Beware, there are definitely spoilers throughout the interview! If you care about that sort of thing, then simply ignore the words for now and drool over the pictures.

Oh, and DA2 spoilers are totes allowed in the comment thread for this post, so get in there and talk! If you've finished! I'm lonely in there. :(

I'm trying to complete the game as fast as I can, but it keeps giving me more shit to do! I'll be in the spoilers section soon, hopefully soon enough to get in before it all becomes old news.

Thanks for linking the interview, by the way. The small but significant changes to some of the designs in DA2 are really interesting, so hopefully it provides some cool insights.

Love that close-up of the Hurlock. At first I missed the needle-teeth, and they still look too thin compared to the DA:O Hurlocks, but it's still awesome.

Old news, shmold news! I'll be talking about this game from my rocker in the retirement community! :D

I think the most shocking change for me is the look of the Emissaries- they're a bit hard to see in-game (for me, anyway), but they're COMPLETELY different than the way they looked in the first game: concept art

I'm fighting (literally) through it now - I'm having my little 'talk' with the Arishok and it is...not going well. Even on Casual.:(

Oh man. That's a tough one. Dog + a LOT of hiding behind pillars got me through that one! :D

Got to love Dog, such a useful addition (when you remember to summon him) and he leads to some great discussions in the manor.

I'm still battling my way through Act 2, but discussing it with friends who are also playing it, it seems like we're having 'totally' different stories, for example three different sibling fates.
