There was one bartender in particular who kept raising his eyebrows at Phelps in a very suspicious way.Koompahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14117129727322584767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990955102330276556.post-43670515238693826202011-06-24T12:21:08.245-07:002011-06-24T12:21:08.245-07:00Oh it's DEFINITELY repetitive. I had a good time with it, but it wasn't as grand as I was expecting. Maybe that's my fault? I don't know.Stacie Ponderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784074536271206501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990955102330276556.post-85481710836709889622011-06-23T14:32:07.849-07:002011-06-23T14:32:07.849-07:00They just announced that this will be coming out o...They just announced that this will be coming out on the PC.

Joy!!CashBaileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13593976245341180685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990955102330276556.post-45179862077874373852011-06-23T14:17:32.550-07:002011-06-23T14:17:32.550-07:00I'm glad somebody liked this game. I found the whole thing boring and repetitive.
Go to scene.
say something.
controller rumble.
pick shit up.
say something
repeat
Yes, you can say the same thing about most games in one way or another, but this one just seemed worse somehow. About 3/4 through i said F it and put ME2 back in for a 3rd play :)

debAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990955102330276556.post-45966818935310040982011-06-22T12:10:05.623-07:002011-06-22T12:10:05.623-07:00I think Kelso would have made a better leading man...I think Kelso would have made a better leading man. The whole Phelps/Elsa thing threw me, too- it was sort of out of the blue, and ultimately a missed opportunity to develop the Phelps character a lot more.

The cases are really fun, though, but then I'm a sucker for those dumb CSI games and whatnot. The homicide desk, in particular, was fun. Or "fun". Or whatever.Stacie Ponderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07784074536271206501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6990955102330276556.post-72382168560485785202011-06-22T11:59:50.193-07:002011-06-22T11:59:50.193-07:00I have the same complaint about Phelps, and I thin...I have the same complaint about Phelps, and I think part of it is on the actor they used. He just can't play the part of a hard ass very well, usually when he's trying to turn the screws on a suspect Phelps just ends up more annoying than intimidating.

I did get into some of the cases, and I loved how most of them are intertwined into a larger narrative. It's also fun to see cases that are more than just "there's a bomb in every phonebooth --go!"

And while there's little humor in the game, it still lets you create your own laughs. I liked driving to crime scenes in dump trucks or the responses from my partner every time I plunged off a 30-foot embankment ("Just breathe!").Adam Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11968051066147134504noreply@blogger.com
